Pathways Code of Ethics for Facilitators, PC’s and TA’s

 

1. TA’s , Facilitators & PC’s act to do no harm to trainees, other TA’s, Facilitators or the Pathways organization.

 

2. TA’s, Facilitators & PC’s avoid imposing their own beliefs, values, attitudes and behaviors upon trainees that are inconsistent with the Pathways trainings.

 

3. Sexual or romantic relationships between TA’s, Facilitators or PC’s and trainees are prohibited until 90 days after the trainee graduates unless there already exists a sexual or romantic relationship with the trainee.

 

4. What is said in the training room stays in the training room. TA’s, Facilitators and PC’s respect trainees’ confidentiality and do not gossip about anything from a training outside that actual training, ever. Keeping information confidential does not apply when disclosure is required to protect the trainee or identified others from serious and forseeable harm.

 

5. TA’s, Facilitators and PC’s are alert to the signs of impairment from their own physical, mental, or emotional problems and refrain from serving on a team when such impairment is likely to adversly affect communication from the heart.

 

6. TA’s, Facilitators and PC’s act only within the boundaries of their competence and refrain from giving advice or diagnosing trainees. TA’s, Facilitators and PC’s may refer the trainee to an appropriately trained professional if they have any questions or concerns.

 

7. TA’s, Facilitators & PC’s treat Pathways intellectual property as confidential and do not share such intellectual property with anyone outside the Pathways organization.
