Meet Jack Noble (Pathways Class 291), Staff Sgt. US Army 99-04 (OIF-OEF), Sgt USMC 93-99. Jack knew a thing or two about leading and serving. Having been a Staff Sergeant in both the US Army and the US Marine Corp, he knew about being responsible for other people and getting things done in the face of adversity. That is, he knew how to do that in the military. His personal life, on the other hand, was a different story.
“I am a strong, trusting compassionate woman who is honorable, trustworthy and worthy of God’s love!”
My name is Stephanie Lynn and I recently graduated the Pathways Core Training in April. I have gained confidence in myself as a woman, mother, and wife. I didn't realize until I got there just how much I needed it, and now I can't imagine my life without it. My husband was in the Army and served a 15 month deployment, but I like to say that we both served that time. Spouses at home may not have been shot at or risked our lives the way our soldiers did, but we do help pay the price.
Meet Ryan Lynn who served in the Army in the Stryker Calvary Regiment and was deployed for a total of 15 months in Iraq with a specialty in combat.
“Having a combat [specialty], there is no room for weakness, no room to be vulnerable, because when that happens, people die. The hard part is being able to leave that behind and not bring it into your family life.”
“I am a strong, confident woman.”
Pathways helped me to deal with things from my past that were affecting my everyday life and it also helped give me tools that taught me to live with heart and integrity. I am a mother of 3 children, a wife, and caregiver of a wounded soldier who suffers from PTSD / TBI and so I have a unique set of circumstances at home.
I was to the point of not being able to deal with my life in large part because his injuries changed our lives. I felt like I was drowning.

My name is Bryan Benson. I am a veteran of Desert Storm and the Global War on Terror. Throughout my military career, I have been deployed multiple times overseas to combat zones.
