Gratefulness * Great-FULL-ness

A couple of weeks ago, we had our first Quarterly Mixer for new volunteers! It was a great time of fellowship, food, music, and of course… sharing.  We had staff, board members, facilitators and first-time volunteers all getting to know each other. There were also some very wonderful hearts that couldn’t make it and we missed them dearly.

You know, when I was making up the invitation list I couldn’t help but feel completely grateful for all of the passion and support for this organization. I sat back and thought about how essential these contributions are to the training. When you haven’t witnessed first-hand the process of getting ready for a training, it’s hard to imagine the amount of work that goes into it. There are so many moving parts and every volunteer and every job function is extremely important. The help we get from our volunteers here in the office and on-site is invaluable.

I hope each volunteer reading this note truly understands how important he/she is to Pathways. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
